SAINT ANTHONY WITH A SOUL OF CLAY

These charming sculptures of Saint Anthony, shaped by the hands of Friar Mariano , are much more than simple clay figures. They are sculpted prayers  Each one seems to smile with tenderness and innocence , as if holding not only the Child Jesus  but also the hope of the world . It’s impossible not to be moved by the expressive simplicity of their faces, the loving gesture of their hands, and the sweetness that emanates from every detail .

There is something deeply Portuguese 🇵🇹 in these little wonders – as if popular faith had taken shape, voice, and warmth . Clay baked with soul  Living tradition. A silent hymn to devotion and to art made with the heart .
