🌆✨ ALFAMA, BY ANTÓNIO SOARES 🎨🇵🇹

I present to you "Alfama," a beautiful work by António Soares, one of the great Portuguese modernist painters

, who masterfully captured the play of light and shadow in the urban landscape

. Loose brushstrokes and luminous tones of yellow, green, and white

guide us through a window that opens onto an urban environment, blending interior and exterior, intimate contemplation and the world beyond

.

The space, with its roughly sketched forms and softly blended colors

, creates an atmosphere that evokes the tranquility of Lisbon's neighborhoods on a summer afternoon

. Soares manages to convey the essence of Alfama, with its typical facades and the unique light that bathes the district

, providing a rich visual experience in texture and emotion. Come and see this unique piece up close at Batalha Collection

, and let yourself be captivated by the sensitivity of one of the great names in Portuguese painting

.
