Deliveries to countries within the European Union will, whenever possible, be handled by trusted road transport companies, directly to the address provided by the customer.
Shipping costs and conditions vary depending on the destination, dimensions, weight, nature and value of the items purchased. For this reason, all deliveries within the European Union are subject to a prior shipping quote.
Before finalising the delivery arrangements, please contact us to request a shipping quote. Dispatch will only take place once the relevant delivery conditions and costs have been accepted.
Once transport has been confirmed, the carrier may contact you by email and/or telephone to arrange a suitable delivery date and time.
All pieces will be carefully inspected before leaving our premises. As they are often antiques, works of art or vintage pieces, they may show marks, scratches, signs of wear or other characteristics resulting from age and use. Whenever possible, we aim to identify and present these features in the photographs and descriptions of each piece.
Furniture, works of art and other items transported by our carriers will be properly protected using suitable materials, which may include bubble wrap, cardboard or other packaging solutions adapted to the nature of each piece.
Whenever possible, we reuse packaging materials that are in good condition, so these may show some marks or signs of previous use.
Although we prioritise specialist transport companies, some smaller items may be shipped through third-party transport or delivery services. Whenever this occurs, the customer will be informed.
If, for any reason, you are unable to receive your order immediately, please contact us. We may be able to store the items safely for a limited period. For storage periods exceeding three weeks, arrangements must be agreed in advance with BATALHA COLLECTION.
