Biography
Bengt Lindström was born in 1925 in Storsjö Kapell, in northern Sweden. After studying art in Stockholm, he moved to Paris, where he continued his training under prominent artists like Fernand Léger and André Lhote. Over time, Lindström’s work evolved into a highly expressive style, characterized by thick impasto, vivid hues, and bold figurative motifs. Exhibited in prestigious galleries around the globe, his paintings garnered international acclaim—securing him a place among the most influential Swedish artists of the 20th century. He passed away in 2008, leaving behind a rich artistic legacy that continues to inspire.
