Artur Bual was a renowned abstract painter, ceramist, and sculptor, who participated in prestigious international exhibitions, including the IV, VI, and VII SΓ£o Paulo Biennials.
His work was displayed in major art institutions such as the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro. He also held numerous solo exhibitions in Lisbon (Galerias de S. Francisco, S. Bento) and Porto (Galeria Alvarez).
Bualβs artwork is represented in the National Museum of Contemporary Art and the Modern Art Center of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
