WOODEN FOLK ORATORY 🕯️✨

This little folk treasure stole my heart. It’s a domestic wooden oratory, with pinnacles and a cross on top, an arched niche, and an absolutely irresistible old patina — the kind only time, devotional use, and family hands can create.

I see whispered prayers in half-light, the shy glow of candles, incense rising… and the memory of Portuguese homes where faith was kept with tenderness.

Today it houses a contemporary head-vase that gives it a poetic wink: a happy dialogue between folk devotion and today’s creativity. The contrast is vibrant and turns this piece into a statement with soul and character.
