Rico Sequeira was born in Portugal in 1954.
He studied in Luxembourg and the USA.

Throughout his career, he has maintained close connections with other artists, including António Inverno, João Vieira, João Botelho, and Malangatana.

His works have been exhibited in numerous countries, including Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Belgium, Sweden, Canada, Brazil, and Argentina.

Sequeira has also participated in international art fairs and salons, such as ARCO, FAC, Estampa, and Grands et Jeunes, with his works represented in collections worldwide.
